Does love die the moment human beings die and vanish from the world? Then if it does, it is such a sad ending to so many romantic relationships that people engage in and dedicate so much of their time and resources to. Love itself is sweet and satisfying if experienced from both sides of the divide, more so in a marriage situation: from the man and the woman. Many attempts have been made to try and describe the feeling that one feels that emanates from being loved. As such, it is important to question as a poet, and generally a literature lover, what love is? At a personal level, I would describe it as an emotional impulse that sparks human emotions and as well drives to affection for either the self, or another person. Song writers have written and sang love songs since time in memorial, love poems composed, and even articles written in the name of love. One such love poem, widely quoted by people all over the world, is the poem, To My Dear and Loving Husband, by Anne Bradstreet in which she speaks to her husband. She celebrates their unity and recognizes the vast love her husband offers to her. It is incomparable to none other according to her (Llorens-Cubedo, 2013)
