I – Assessment
Prepare your paper by including the following aspects:
Family background and impacts on family issues: Briefly provide the family background, and discuss how your clients’ family issues affect family members’ social and psychological functioning (attach genogram and/or ecomap as appendix)
The types of quality of relationships depicted in the genogram and/or the ecomap
The strengths and vulnerabilities that your clients (Hispanic family) may be experiencing
Cultural elements: What are the effects and social context does ethnicity have on the family, within the family, and its environmental systems (i

.e. common characteristics, values about seeking help, the impact of race, class, religion, gender roles, historical factors, etc).
II – Theoretical Critical Reflection
A critical theoretical reflection of social work practice (e.g., any insights gained in applying the selected theoretical framework for assessing the family) and practical application – particularly in Hispanic culture based on the experience of the interview and this assignment.
