I will post the discussions after selecting.label each response to the students posts. each 4 linesDiscussion1: First, I thoroughly enjoyed this segment and found it to be extremely thought provoking. It introduced concepts I hadnt previously thought of and made me think twice about what I felt I knew about ethics. That said, ethics are an inevitable and very necessary component of daily life, both personally and professionally. They establish the framework for the decisions individuals make on a regular basis and hold us accountable to the results of said decisions. Essentially, ethics are needed in order to foster a functioning society as demonstrated by the example provided in the segment regarding running red lights or breaking in houses. Focusing on corporate cultures, this week we read about sustainability and efforts companies must make to move toward being more environmentally, economically, and ethically sound (Hartman, DesJardins, MacDonald, 2018). In terms of being economically and environmentally conscience, ethics are imperative to ensuring a companys marketing and brand are presenting a positive reputation for stakeholders and consumers. To improve ethical conditions in the workplace in order to move toward sustainability, companys should invest resources in understanding their community and environmental footprint.Meanwhile, chapter ten goes on to discuss governance and controls. This comes into play with excerpts from this weeks video that refer to laws and order within society and doing the right thing. Organizations can improve ethical conditions in the workplace by creating an environment conducive to speaking up and out regarding injustices and perceived wrongdoings. Today during a Town Hall conference, our executive leader became emotional after delivering a message of zero tolerance for workplace infractions in terms of sexual harassment. She was passionate and made it very clear that there would be consequences. This is the type of action and passion leaders should demonstrate to promote ethical behavior f
rom employees at all levels.Discussion 2: Ethics is a behavior. It is the values that helps to identify the rationale of life. It helps to know about the values of the life and how we should live together. Living together means living in the harmony. The need of the ethics is to generate the rationale consensus and it is not to be only ethical but also to be in the justice system and to be abide by the certain rules and regulations. Law enforcement is also impossible without the ethics. Ethical decisions requires the brainpower. Leaders have the ethical reasoning skills. Ethics is also the matter of the opinion but it is related to the values and the interpersonal values.Ethics helps people take the right choices obviously. It helps to take the right decision and in the proper way. It helps to control the unnecessary arguments among the people as it shows the way for the good culture and instill the sets of values in the people. Organization needs to inject the awareness among its employees about what is allowed to do and what is not within the workplace as well as needs to let know the people about their rights in the workplace. There should be the fixed sets of the values and norms in the workplace which all of the employees shall follow and respect along with the hierarchy. There should be no one like bigger or smaller among the personality in the workplace. Because in the many workplaces, the bosses act as the king and use to dominate the workplace with their orders and instructions but such things are totally absurd and everyone should be treated equally and shall be given the same rights of the freedom to express and act accordingly.Answer Preview
