Nov. 2019. Henry Small, Organizer, Music in the Park: Ive never seen this amount of talent in a small
community. Its a great community for music.
Mike, Owner, Eats Amore: Music in the Park is a hub for Kamloops. Itâs a place for everyone
to come every night in July and August. Small: We try to do something different every night for sixty nights. Community Member: I love Music in the Park because of its community feeling, and I like the
live music and food trucks. Kamloops Community Member: Good music, good food.
Bernadette Siracky, Executive Director, Kamloops Food Bank: It brings hundreds and
hundreds of people out every night to listen to local talent, and while its doing that, it supports
our local organization. So for us at the food bank, Music in the Park gives us an opportunity to
connect and to engage with our community members in a meaningful way and with our Locking
in Hope promotion, they give us an opportunity to sell locks and support what we do on a daily
basis. Without support from corporations and businesses like BCLC and events like Music in the
Park, it would be really difficult to do what we do, so were very grateful. Community Member: I love that theres something going on every night.
Small: We have a pretty good crowd. People really enjoy it.
Community Member: If it wasnt for BCLC, these things wouldnt be able to happen, so were
thankful for that.
