The revision that I got the most of was me using passive voice throughout my assignment. I plan to change this by writing in active voice, because it shortens the sentence and gets the point across. The format used for a heading is important because it is the first thing someone looks at when beginning to read a paper. I plan to change this in future essays by not double spacing the heading and not forgetting to put my last name and page number. I tend to use conjunctions when speaking, and it is also a habit to use it when I do essays because it shortens the two words into one. I can change this in future essays by typing out both the words rather than joining them together. I had a phase where being a dolphin trainer was a serious goal of mine, only to be replaced with the dream of being a cake decorator/ bakery owner. However, despite the constant change of heart I faced, the one job that I always got drawn back to was being a teacher. With my mom being a teacher, I always tagged along when it was Bring Your Child to Work Day, and I always loved it. My mom is one of those people who genuinely believes in the phrase if you love what you do, you never work a day in your life. Though her job is not easy, she always talks about how much she loves it, and she wouldnt want to do anything else. Her passion for her career has inspired me to embark on this journey. I wasnt always confident in my future, even though I knew my dream job was to be an art teacher. People would always have negative opinions on me choosing this path, since its not the most financially secure career, but I didnt let that stop me from following my heart. I can truly thank my mom for why I am currently enrolled in college, because it took over 2 years of self-denial to figure out that this is what I really want to do with my life.
